argh -- 2003-02-23 I am so pissed at myself. I was growing my fingernails. I even bought pretty nailpolish to inspire myself. My brother bet me five bucks that they wouldn't be long by March 12th. The fourth and fifth finger of each hand were doing extremely well, and had tips. But then I watched the Newfoundland & Labrador women's curling team in the finals against Team Canada in the Scott Tournament of Hearts. And bit them all off. On top of that Newfoundland lost. Shit. Not that I need long nails anyway, I mean, I'm a lesbian! My partner (real or hypothetical) might not have appreciated it. But it still would have been cool.
