the lesbian monologues -- 2003-01-20 Here is where I toot my own horn. :) I love all things lesbian. I read books, articles, journals and online print of all sorts. I had a weekly lbgt radio show a few years ago, called "Rainbow Radio" in which I read out stories, took caller questions, gave information, and advice to the general population. I volunteered for the lbgt group at the university for three years, and I worked there as a research student for one year. I facilitated and then organized a filing cabinet of folders full of information on lbgt issues for younger people, everything from health to coming out to dating to sex. It was a lot of fun, and my undergrad years would have been much more lonely had I not met some of the people at the centre. I felt so *normal* when I went there, you know, there were other lesbians, I wasn't the only one! And to meet people my age who didn't think that what I was thinking, dreaming, hoping was weird, well, it was wonderful. So, ask me a question. Email me whenever you want, I will respond. Talk to me about centre issues, gay-lesbian topics, questions you were dying to know but never wanted to ask. I love to talk about this stuff. I could go for hours. And if I don't know the answer, I want to learn too, and I'll find it out! Okay, I'm off my soap-box. And because I'm bored...  Which John Cusack Are You? Read this book! Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt. Intriguing! And not only is John Cusack in it, but so is my favorite actor Kevin Spacey!
