winter sucks -- 2003-01-19 Spent Friday night and most of Saturday at M.'s, helped her shovel out her driveway after the massive amounts of snow we've had. This is insane, 30 more centimeters will fall on Monday. Right now we're at about 300 cms. for the year, half of our all-time record of 600 cms. during Winter 2001. For anyone who can't fathom that much snow -here are pics to prove it. Newfoundland Record Snow Fall 2001. And those pictures look surprisingly like this year. Ugh. I strained my left arm while shoveling, which is bad, because now I'm not going to be able to help shovel tomorrow's bit. Winter sucks. Spent last night with Mom, talking and playing cards. We worried about what to do with all of my things which are still in Ottawa. I don't have the money to get it all back to Newfoundland, so what it looks like I'm going to have to do is sell as much of it as I can, to pay for the storage costs now, and the cost of sending all of my personal things back. So I will end up broke again, but at least I'll have my books and the other things I left there. I hate my life right now.
