no thanks -- 2003-01-03 Well I hope you all had a really good New Year celebration! Mine was, well, so so. I offered to be the designated driver (out of kindness, because my ex drove the last few years), and let me tell you, being the d.d. on New Years really sucks, even if you are trying to be kind. Everyone else was loaded out of their minds, and things that they thought were really funny really really aren't when you are completely sober. So I was out until after four a.m. and not even having a good time. To top it all off, for a few hours I went to the dance that Marnie organized, and she completely ignored me. Now luckily I wasn't there alone, so I didn't feel completely rejected, I had people to hang out with anyway, but I was really unimpressed with the way she acted. These past few weeks we've been completely hanging out, and then she's completely nuzzling and wigging out over another girl. I mean, I know I was second-guessing whether I was interested in her in that way, but I thought her actions were really low class. If she was interested in another girl, she should have told me when we were discussing dating each other. I think I deserve that. So needless to say, pretty disappointing on all counts.
