it's not working -- 2002-11-01 well, my Halloween was uneventful. We had just eleven kids, and I worked until 7 p.m., so I missed most of them. It was nice to get home and kick back with the roomies and have a beer though. They were quite nice last night, sometimes we can really get on each other's nerves - four women means four sets of hormones! I told Tracey about moving back to Newfoundland though, and she was fine with me just paying half a month's rent for December. If it wouldn't have been fine, I would have just moved my flight to Dec. 1st and not paid any rent for December. Working in a bookstore is great but doesn't warrant that much cash. And I'm not going to put myself in debt to work there. I'm pretty sure Karmen and I are done. I called her yesterday, concerned because she left a message sounding so stressed out - but she wasn't home so I had to leave a message. She later called me back when I was at work, with a message that sounded even worse than the first. It's like she doesn't want to talk to me! I've had calls from collection agencies that were warmer. :( If she doesn't want to be with me, then why doesn't she break up with me??? I mean, where's the romance? Where's the wanting to be with me? I'm not asking her on any more dates - it's her turn. Are there any weekend plans yet? No, of course not. She knows I haven't seen the mountains of Banff yet, but she hasn't offered to take me, show me where she lives, anything. It's time to end it. I'm sad about it, but I mean, come on, I could be dating someone who actually cares!
