wanting -- 2002-10-30 Still weak from the food poisoning, although I did eat three small meals yesterday (porridge, rice, soup). My legs are shaky and I'm headachy, and I slept for two hours after work yesterday, and then a full night's sleep. I must have needed it, that's all I can say. It is bleeping -20 degrees here! I had to wear winter boots, my long wool coat, a scarf, hat and mitts just to keep from freezing to death. This is definitely worse than Ottawa. At least Ottawa doesn't get this cold this quickly. I still don't know about Karmen. I feel that if I was a priority to her, I would be a priority, you know, instead of just fitting in time to see me. I hate that. Ah, I should stop griping. That's all I ever do. Six weeks till I go back to Newfoundland for Christmas! I'm thinking of staying home for longer than the usual vacation. I need a break. I need to see my family.
