who I am part two -- 2002-10-17 Well, Liz called from the bookstore, and offered me part-time close to full-time hours. That is going to be good. It's McNally Robinson, a really nice independent bookstore, and she needs someone to start asap, so I'm going in tomorrow morning. This is going to save me, big time. The salary is only $7.50, but we both understand that this is stop-gap for me, so it's okay. It will pay my stupid cell phone bill anyway. God, I really used it a lot, and now my bill is obscene. But I needed to use it a lot. ARGH. I hate money. I will never have any, it seems. And when I finally get some, it's going to go right to my bills. Forget fun. News on the serious jobs, well, I had an interview with PowerHouse Advertising yesterday. It was a prelim interview, and I think it went well, but then, you can't always tell. I know a couple jobs I've applied for have checked out references, but I don't know which ones. I need a full-time job. It can't be much worse than AMS in my opinion. I guess I should be really happy that I am going into the bookstore tomorrow, but I don't feel that happy. Maybe it's because of the blow I've suffered the past few weeks. I'm still too uptight to enjoy the good things. But I did feel a sigh of relief when Liz called. Just not... happy.
